What does the CAIF 2024 do?
The Clean Air International Forum (CAIF) aims to build a community of cooperation among East Asia
and the Asia-Pacific countries to address the borderless impacts for air pollution in a proactive way.
Gyeonggi Province celebrates the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies (7th September every year)
in cooperation with international organizations, such as the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP),
the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Gyeonggi Province also holds an international symposium to discuss various policy suggestions
and technical improvement efforts with domestic and foreign experts for air quality improvement and public health protection.

and encouraging cooperation through strengthening awareness of clean air action in global communities
