What does the CAIF 2023 do?
The Clean Air International Forum (CAIF) aims to build a community of cooperation among East Asia and the Pacific countries
to address the borderless impacts of air pollution in a proactive way.
Gyeonggi Province celebrates the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies (7th September every year) in cooperation
with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and holds an international symposium to discuss various policy suggestions
and technical improvement efforts with domestic and international academics for air quality improvement and public health protection.
What is the purpose of the CAIF 2023?
Raising the international status of Gyeonggi Province as an environmentally advanced city by hosting an international forum
and encouraging cooperation through strengthening awareness of clean air action in global communities
Building regular and permanent networks of cooperation with global communities to take proactive action in the impacts of air pollution,
