It is my great honor to have you here
at the Clean Air International Forum (CAIF) 2023
on behalf of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government in the Republic of Korea.

As concerns about the borderless nature of air pollution continue to rise everywhere in Asia-Pacific countries, their cooperation has moved forward steadily through the partnership with UNEP(UN Environment Programme) for clean air. Since 2018, Gyeonggi Province has been organizing the Clean Air International Forum (CAIF) to build global communities for air quality improvement.

This year, the Clean Air International Forum (CAIF) is held under the theme ‘Together for Clean Air’ from 5th September to 6th September 2023. It will be a valuable opportunity for collaboration around raising awareness on the borderless impacts of air pollution and discussing various policy suggestions and technical improvement efforts with domestic and international academics and government officials to put air quality back at safer levels.

We call upon everyone to join the Clean Air International Forum (CAIF) 2023 to work together to overcome air pollution and achieve a cleaner atmosphere in Northeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.
